The most awaited Bird Park will begin from next month in Gulab Bagh. The arrangements are in the final stage after which the park will echo with the chirping of a variety of birds. As per reports, the park will be opened in June though a lot of work still needs to be done.

7 cages are ready for the birds out of which 5 cages will have a variety of parrots. There will be macaws, cacaos, birds of prey, green munia and a variety of other birds. Emu will also be an attraction in the bird park.  7 emus have been shifted from the Sajjangarh Bio-Park to Gulab Bagh’s bird park. Owls are also going to be part of the other beautiful winged creatures in this park. The cages have been painted and coloured and will soon be a home to the birds.

The other special features of the park include a hospital for the birds. A concrete cement pavement is under construction, the cages are covered with grass to give a feel of nature to the cage. The cages also have branches and twigs so that the birds can enjoy the same as they do on trees in the forests. Cement railings will encircle the cages.
