BJP Activists Protest over Chairman Post of Sahakari Samiti
A tussle between the Bhartiya Janta Party officials and the Police occurred today at the Kumbha Sahakari Bhawan due to the appointment of Hari Singh Jhala as the Chairman of the Sahakari committee of both Gogunda and Udaipur at the same time.

Over a hundred BJP officials cornered the Sahakari Bhawan at Pratapnagar in protest against the issue. Higher officials of the BJP including Rajni Dangi, UMC Chairperson; BJP District Chairperson Dinesh Bhatt; Pramod Samar, Regional Minister, BJP; Rakesh Porwal, Jayesh Champawat, Kiran Jain, Shushma Kumawat and ChanchalAgarwal were seen in the protest.
“An individual cannot hold the position of Chairman of both the places at the same time, and if someone does, an instant action must be taken” said a BLP Official.
In major protest against the violation of the stated policies, the BJP members, in aggression, cornered the Deputy Registrar, B.L. Gupta.
The Pratapnagar Police station on the information of the incident immediately reached the spot and tried to clamp down the protest proceedings, which lead to a spat between the party members and the police.
