The Bhartiya Janta Party Yuva Morcha Urban and Rural is leading a mass protest, ‘Congress Hatao, Desh Bachao’, against the massive price hikes and the current government’s ruling policies.

The mass protest, which started today, will go on till Saturday, 16^th June. A procession as a part of the protest was held today at 9:30 am, which began from Mandi Ki Naal and reached the Collectorate.

Jinendra Shashtri, President, BJP Yuva Morcha said that the Madhya Pradesh BJP Yuva Morcha In-Charge, Manoj Pathak also joined and led the protest today.

Gulab Chand Kataria, Member of Legislative Assembly, who was also in the rally said, “The Government’s duty is to think of the welfare of the people, but skyrocketing prices of petrol and other daily use commodities is making a common man’s life very hard to live.”

The District General Secretary, B.J.P. Rural, Dr. Chandra Gupt Singh addressed his concern on the fact that under the current UPA rule, the country has faced very high inflation rates and the economic policies of the government are not helping the poor and middle class to make a livelihood.

Other members of the B.J.P. party who were present to add panache to the protest and show their aggression were, V.C. Bansal, Regional Chairperson; Chagan Mahur, Regional General Secretary; and Rajesh Bhat.
