Blood Donation Camp by Helping Hands Group
A blood donation camp was organized by the group Helping Hands, today at Devendra Dham. More than 140 units of blood was reportedly donated till the end of the day.

Helping Hands, a newly formed social group by various college students of Udaipur had organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with Pacific Institute of Management &Technology,while medical facilities were provided by Rajasthan Medicare Relief Society,M.B Hospital Udaipur.
The camp started early in the morning today at Devendra Dham opposite The Celebration Mall.and witnessed hundreds of youth participating enthusiastically for the noble cause.
Citing no particular aim for conducting this blood donation event, Aamir Hussain-one of the core members said “This is our first social event since we made our group on July 6, 2011 and we are going to organize more such events in the near future. Our aim is to do social work for needy people of society”, added Aamir.
BJP leader Gulabchand Kataria and Municipal Council Chairman Rajni Dangi has also donated blood at the camp.
The newly founded group has more than 30 members.The core founding members are Hitesh Chordia, Archit Chhajed, Aayush Khandelwal, Aamir Hussain, Neerav Jain, Prashant Jain, Hardik Jain and Quresh Rassawala. All members fall under the age of 20-25.
According to Aamir, “this social welfare group has some main agendas like global environment, child labour, raising funds for social welfare and helping needy people. Our next event will be related to environment and then we will work against child labour”.
The group has already received recognition as more than 100 people have joined its official facebook page.
The core members also said a word of thanks to all those who made this noble endeavour of theirs a successful on. – “We would like to thank the Director of PIMT ,Krishankant Dave for supporting us. We are also obliged to Mahendra Talesra and Anil Jain for continuous support and inspiration and our thanks to Udaipurites as well for lending a helping hand in this noble cause.”
