Fatehsagar Lake has got enough water to begin the fun of boating for all. It may be noted that boating operations had stopped as the lake had gone dry reaching minus level. This was a disastrous situation for the boats. There were all the probabilities of the boats hitting the rocks resulting in fatal accidents.

The fun of boating facility can now be availed as boating operations have been re-started from Wednesday, 4^th September. The last boat was operated on the 10^th of May and 4^th September marks the beginning of a good boat ride in the lush waters of Fatehsagar. The music of the waves can be enjoyed once again. This has also brought life back in Nehru Garden which is in the lake. Tourists were overjoyed at the sight of boats and could be seen waiting for their turns.
