Udaipur’s Bohra Youth Urges Strict Crackdown on Terror

A memorandum urging the government to also ensure safety of ordinary citizens and prevent such incidents in the future was submitted to the District Collector of Udaipur

Udaipur, April 25, 2025 – Bohra Youth Sansthan of Udaipur yesterday, April 24, handed over a memorandum to the Udaipur District Collector Namit Mehta and addressed to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, expressing outrage and grief over the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. The letter strongly condemned the deadly strike and sought urgent measures against the perpetrators of this violence.

On April 22, at least 26 civilians were brutally murdered by terrorists in the Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir region. This inhumane and heinous act has shaken the country and demands for swift and strict punishment are echoing across the nation, regardless of faith and community.

Standing in solidarity with the entire nation, the Bohra Youth Sansthan has, in its memorandum, urged the Government of India, security forces and local administration to take the strictest possible action against the terrorists. They also appealed for ensuring the safety of ordinary citizens and for implementing more effective and permanent measures to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future.

Yusuf RG, Secretary of the organisation, expressed deep condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this terrorist attack and reiterated the community's solidarity with the nation during this painful time.

The memorandum was submitted in the presence of the vice-president of the Central Board of Dawoodi Bohra Community Hibtullah Attari, Zonal Secretary Abbas Ali Habib, Khozema Bohra of Bohra Youth Education Trust, Advocate Farida Banu, Shabbir Waghpurawala, Ali Hussain Rangwala and others.
