July 18, 2025 – More than 50 schools in Delhi received bomb threat mails this July 18 morning following a threat to seven schools in the capital city on July 16. And now it is Bengaluru’s turn as at least 40 schools in the city were sent bomb threat emails this morning causing massive security deployment as police scramble to trace the source. Schools in central, east, west and south Bengaluru were among those which were sent the threats.

The emails to Bengaluru schools titled “BOMBS INSIDE THE SCHOOL” were sent from the ID roadkill333@atomicmail.io. The mail read, “You all deserve to suffer. I truly hate my life, I will commit suicide after the news kick in. I will slit my throat and slit my wrists. I was never truly helped, psychiatrists, psychologists, no one has ever cared and no one will ever care. You only care about medicating the helpless and clueless humans.. . Please give a copy of the message to the press/media.”

The sender claimed to have placed multiple explosives (Trinitrotoluene) in plastic bags inside classrooms. 

So far, around 100 schools across India have received threatening messages with 60 of them being in Delhi. The threats have created panic among students and parents.
