On Sunday afternoon, a girl driving her scooty lost control and rammed into the railings at Fatehsagar lake side. The pillion rider girl fell on the road side while the other fell into the lake. 
It so happened that 2 girls were were on their way from Rani Road to Badi. Somehow the scooty went out of control and hit the railings. Eye witnesses said that the collision was so strong that the girl on the pillion fell on the road and got injured while the one driving the scooty fell into the lake. The girl on the road shouted for help as a result of which public gathered on the spot. It was quite shocking that none of the people came ahead to help the drowning girl. At that moment, Home Guard jawan Sunil Nagda was passing thay way on his bike. He stopped at the spot and public informed him about the drowning girl. Sunil at once jumped into the lake and pulled the girl out to safety. The girls were then rushed to the hospital.
