Exhibiting the absolute humanity and bravery, a group of local youths saved a girl who tried to end her life by jumping in Lake Pichola last night. The girl is said to be in stable condition and the acclaim goes to Jayesh Kotia and his friends.

Incident occurred on the night of 9th Sept when a young girl (name withheld) attempted suicide by jumping in Lake Pichola at Gangaur Ghat. As soon as she jumped, Jayesh Kotia who was nearby the lake got alert and saw her drowning, Jayesh instantly plunged in to save the girl.

Jayesh who successfully got hold of the victim, a group of his friends Prateek Nagar, Shubham Nagar, Vikram Pandey, Chetan Soni and Gopal pulled them out.

The young boys first called 108 Ambulance service but after waiting for 15 minutes, they decided to take the unconscious victim girl on their own. They arranged an auto rickshaw and rushed to MB Hospital.

The timely treatment saved the girl’s life.
