Morning walkers, exercise enthusiasts, and swimmers at Fateh Sagar were in for a shock today morning when a youth committed suicide by jumping into the silent waters.

The incident occured in early morning hours when, a few people noticed a youth jumping into the lake from the second dome at Fateh Sagar paal.

Onlookers informed the police when they saw a young man drowning in the water and there was no one around to help him.  Police and ambulance from Udaipur Municipal Corporation rushed to the spot and divers have entered the water to pull out the body.

Though the youth has been identified, yet confirmation reports are awaited.  We will keep you posted.
