Bus crashed with railing, 4 tourists injured
Four people including a 4 year old child were injured seriously when a passenger bus rammed into the iron railings on the shore of Lake Pichola today afternoon due to an alleged brake fail. All injured have been admitted to MB Hospital with multiple fractures and wounds.

According to the report, a bus carrying 50 tourists from Gujarat, who came to visit Karnimata Temple near Dudh Talai were going back when the bus was moving down through spiky slope but unfortunately it went out of control and crashed into the iron railings injuring four people who were standing there. All injured were also tourists and belong to Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Names of the victims are Mitakshara (35) w/o Anil Kumar, Divyanshu (4) s/o Anil Kumar, Chetna (22) d/o Arvind Kumar and Anil kumar (40) s/o Ramdev Bhai.
Anil Kumar has received minor bruises and he has been discharged from the hospital after medical check-up, 4 years old Divyanshu has got head injuries but his condition is not worrisome while Chetna and Mitakshara have been injured badly with multiple fractures and are admitted in MB Hospital.
“The accident could have been more fatal if the bus had crossed the railing and fall into the lake,” said the investigating police officer Hirendra Singh of Ghantaghar Police Station.
“We have seized the bus and booked the driver for rash driving,” the officer said.
