Presently, the market of Maggie is around Rs. 80 Lac per month out of which Rs. 40 Lac worth of product is expected to be returned from the shops, according to a distributor. Many shops have already stopped the sale of the product.
Food Safety Officer Anil Bhardwaj informed that samples were taken from two shops and sent for testing. Post this; all packets from Rs.5 to Family pack will be removed from the shops.
With the news making waves on social media, many people are seen sharing their stories, comments, memes and jokes about the recent government’s decision to ban Maggie completely.
