In a new move to promote eco-tourism, the state government has unveiled a Cactus Garden at Kevda Ki Naal Botanical Garden in Udaipur. Udaipur MP Manna Lal Rawat conducted the inauguration today, on August 23,2024.
MP Rawat highlighted that the Cactus Garden is a creative step to boost eco-tourism and protect the Aravalli's biodiversity. He noted that this project helps conserve local tree species and fosters connections with villagers. The initiative includes planting trees from tribal communities clans to involve local tribes. In their village, 18,000 trees and plants have already been planted.
