In a bid to address the difficult state of helpless, sick and abandoned individuals living in public places, the Social Justice and Empowerment Department has initiated a campaign. The campaign, launched at divisional headquarters, aims to rescue and rehabilitate those in need. On its inaugural day, the campaign witnessed the successful rescue of over 107 individuals. Under the initiative, such individuals found in public places will be rescued and provided shelter at the ashram operated by Ma Madhuri Brij Waris Seva Sadan and Apna Ghar Sanstha.
Across various divisions, significant numbers of individuals have already been rescued. Notably, 10 individuals were rescued from Udaipur, 30 individuals were rescued in Jodhpur division, 22 in Jaipur, 19 in Kota, 16 in Bikaner and 10 in Ajmer.
The campaign, scheduled to run from February 29 to March 1 at divisional headquarters and from March 2 to 5, 2024 in all districts, aims to offer comprehensive support to those in need. This includes free shelter, medicine, food, clothing, and living services at the ashram.
To ensure the success of the campaign, seven teams have been formed at divisional headquarters. These teams are equipped with 28 ambulances, 112 service companions, and seven in-charges, facilitating efficient rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
