The pain of inconsolable mother and the sobbing sister of Late. lieutenant Archit Verdia cannot be replaced in anyways, except the only hope that ‘time’ will make its own remedy for the relatives of 23 year old Lt.Archit who died by fire caught in an Army camp located in Siachen glacier on 21st July.

The news of Archit’s death spread like a wild fire in his hometown Udaipur. Thousands of locals gathered today evening at Lake Fateh Sagar to pay their tribute to the young brave heart Archit.

A candlelight march was performed by thousands of Udaipurites, they also wrote their message in remembrance of Archit Verdia.

“You made us Proud Archit”, “We will not forget your sacrifice” and many more heart touching messages were written by everyone, mostly those who never even met this lively army men, who died making his late father’s wish true of seeing him as an army officer.

Candle light march was organized by Archit’s friends and relatives. UT reporter Sayeed, who is covering news on Archit exclusively was also present in today’s event.
