8 Killed in Car Blast Near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station
Major explosion near Red Fort Metro station Gate No.1 shakes Delhi; NIA and NSG teams begin investigation
Nov 10, 2025 - As many as 8 people were killed and several others injured in a car blast that took place on Monday, November 10, 2025, near Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi. As per reports, the blast occured at Gate No. 1 of the facility.
Eight of the victims died on the way to the hospital while three were still in a critical condition amd are under treatment at the Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan (LNJP) hospital.
More than seven fire tenders reached the spot after the explosion. Police has started an investigation but the reason behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained. NIA, NSG and the Forensic Department also rushed to the scene
Reports say Home Minister Amit Shah immediately spoke to the Delhi Police Commissioner to take stock of the situation.
