The incident occurred at Udaipur-Banswara road.

A car fell off the bridge and went straight into the 10 feet deep river running underneath. The driver is reportedly safe. Sarni river at Udaipur-Banswara road has a steep turn which falls under the danger zone. The driver lost control at this turn in the process of escaping from the vehicle that came from the opposite side.

A bank employee from Udaipur was on his way to Bankoda village in Dungarpur district. A vehicle suddenly came face to face at the steep turn at Sarni river. In order to save himself, the bank employee lost control and his car went down the bridge and fell into the river which is 10 feet deep.

The car got damaged as it hit the rocks in the river. The driver had the seat belt on which kept him intact on the seat and safe after the fall. The turn does not have any road signs though there have been accidents previously as well. The turn is extremely steep and gives rise to accidents very often.

The side wall of the bridge is also damaged and the absence of any signs on this turn gives rise to accidents. The work of road widening is on a halt since last 4 months and people have expressed their agitation regarding this fact.
