Today, Udaipur was host to a car rally which aims to spread the message of a “Corruption Free Udaipur.” The rally started near Udaipur’s Sahelion Ki Bari at 3 pm today and covered many of the main areas of the city. The rally, which saw more than 30 cars participating in the event, was initiated by the chief of the Alok Institute Pradeep Kumawat raising the flag. The rally was the first event that was organized by the Rajasthan Motor Club. This club is the first of its kind to be launched for the motorists of Udaipur and has received a sound response among the public. Hopefully, this initiative will help create awareness among the citizens of Udaipur. The rally has been focusing on some very common rules which are hardly followed by the general population. As Udaipur has the highest number of four wheelers, it is essential for the population to understand the basic driving laws. The city of lakes has already been plagued by a string of driving issues including rash driving, wrong side overtakes, illegal parking etc. The rally passes through a number of locations such as Dewali, Fateh Sagar, Swaroop Sagar, Chetak Circle, Hathipol, Delhi Gate, Bapu Bazaar, Surajpol, Fateh School, Durga Nursery Road, Ashok Nagar, Shastri Circle, Residency Road, Panchwati and finally concluded at Sukhadia Circle.
