Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Udaipur has presented a challan against the suspended SI in a case of bribery. It may be noted that the SI of Charbhuja was caught red-handed with the bribe amount of 40,000 rupees on 16^th April 2018. The bribe was taken against managing the toll plaza at Rajsamand.

Mahesh Joshi, the then SI at Charbhuja had asked for a bribe for the smooth operation of toll plaza. The toll plaza manager Rajendra Singh had filed a complaint with the ACB, Udaipur as per which the SI had asked for 15,000 rupees per month and a lump sum of 60,000 rupees in advance for 4 months. After verifying the details, ACB trapped SI Mahesh and caught him red-handed with 40,000 rupees.
