Chief Minister Inaugurates Red Cross, Pratyush Bhawan

No service is bigger than serving humanity. This thought was expressed by the Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot at the inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed Red Cross Bhawan on 29 Jan. at Hiran Magri. While appreciating the services of Red Cross, he said that this society is rendering commendable services during emergency and therefore it is revered by all.

On the occasion Dr. Aruna Bhandari, Gajendra Bhansali, Rajeev Bhandari and Virendra Verdia were honored by the Chief Minister for their active participation in the activities of Red Cross Society.

Many eminent personalities including Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Minister of Tribal & Rural Area Development & Panchayati Raj; Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs; Hemant Gera, District Collector; Roop Kumar Khurana, Chaiman UIT; former MLA, Trilok Purbia and many others were present on the occasion.

Besides this the Chief Minister, also released ‘Jivothan-Wagwar Panchagam’ prepared and published by Jivothan Prakashnalay and Sansthan today at Circuit House.

Ashok Gehlot also laid the foundation stone of Pratyush Patrika Bhawan amidst vedic proceedings on Sunday afternoon at Chitrakoot Nagar and then visited the exhibition of Pratyush Patrika. While addressing the gathering he said that the role of media cannot be denied in India’s struggle for Independence.

He also added that to publish newspaper is challenging and Pratyush Patrika has successfully faced this challenge. He conveyed his best wishes for the construction of the building.

The Editor of Pratyush Patrika, Vishnu Sharma ‘Hitaishi’ threw light on the journey of the Patrika. The occasion was graced by Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Minister of Tribal & Rural Area Development & Panchayati Raj; Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs; Madhu Mehta, District Head; Roop Kumar Khurana, Chaiman UIT; and many others.

Chief Minister Inaugurates Red Cross, Pratyush BhawanThe Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot was also the chief guest for ‘Divisional Level Felicitation Ceremony for the Talented’ organized by Adivasi Mahasabha for the first time in Udaipur on Sunday. He urged the tribal people to get maximum benefit from the various schemes launched for their economic and social upliftment. He also referred to many on-going schemes like; Awas Yojana, Janani- Shishu Suraksha Yojana etc.

Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Minister of Tribal & Rural Area Development & Panchayati Raj expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister for his presence in the programme for the first time and also congratulated Limba Ram for getting Padamshree.

State Minister for Higher Education, Dr. Dayaram Parmar urged the Chief Minister to open a Tribal University in the area.

On this occasion the Chief Minister honoured many talented persons of the tribal community for their selection in various competitive examinations including Rajendra Katiza for selection in IPS.

Later in the evening, Gehlot also attended the B.N College Fest “Mayuri” as a chief guest and addressed the audience.
