Rajasthan Chief Secretary: Expedite Ongoing Jal Jeevan Mission Projects
Rajasthan’s Chief Secretary V Srinivas stresses on regular meetings in all districts of the District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM)
UdaipurTimes, Sept 26, 2026 - Rajasthan’s Chief Secretary V Srinivas reviewed the progress of schemes and works being implemented in the State under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) during a meeting at the Government Secretariat, Jaipur, on Friday, September 25.
He directed officials to accelerate the ongoing works under the mission and ensure their completion within the given timelines. He stressed on regular meetings in all districts of the District Water and Sanitation Mission (DWSM) with effective reviews of the progress, quality and pending works of the schemes.
Officials present informed that 2,929 Single-Village Schemes under JJM had been completed across the State by September and that remaining schemes will be completed at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary asked officials to ensure the effective completion of Nal Jal Mitra training. He told them to sort out obstacles related to payments for projects under the National JJM and ensure early resolution of pending cases.
