Udaipur, December 12,2024 - Dungarpur police and Childline NGO stopped a child marriage in Tatia village. The wedding was planned for December 12,2024. Childline received a complaint about the marriage of a minor in Tatia village. A team from Childline, along with police, visited the location.

The marriage was taking place at Narayan Patidar's house. Preparations for the wedding were in full swing. The team checked the girl’s age using official documents. They instructed the family to wait until she was of legal age to marry.

Aaspur Tehsildar, Yogesh Vaishnav, confirmed the action and said the family was advised to wait for the girl to become an adult.
