Fun activities of children became the reason of tension between two families. Little did these kids know that their gaming activity would create a gross tension between families and the matter would be dragged to the police station.

Children in Jawahar Nagar were having pre-Holi celebrations. They were throwing water filled balloons at each other. One such water-balloon thrown by Manav s/o Dinesh Sindhi hit a little girl’s eye. The little girl, granddaughter of Damodar Chhabria, started crying after being hit with balloon. This became reason enough for Damodar to approach Dinesh. He reached Dinesh’s house where he had an argument with wife of Dinesh Sindhi.

After this Dinesh and his family reached police station accusing Damodar for a lot of things and demanded his arrest. Police did not pay heed to complaint. When no action was taken by police, members of Sindhi community went back to police station the same night. Seeing a lot of people together, police arrested Damodar in a jiffy.

As reported, police did not take action on the report earlier and tried to brush away the report considering it irrelevant. But when people gathered outside Surajpole police station and protested against the negligence of police, they took immediate action to escape any further opposition from the community.
