Around 60 choreographers operating distinctly in various parts of Udaipur, came together to form an association registered as the Rajasthan Dance Association (RDA).  The formal setup was done on 1^st July with a proper election to the management posts held on 23^rd June.

Amit Goswami, who was elected as President, in an interaction with the local media,outlined the motto ofthe association. He said that the primary motto was to provide proper exposure to smaller business owners in the field.  The member choreographers were also requested to maintain uniformity in fee and charges in events.

Yatharth Verma, General Secretary, RDA, said that to attain a quality service is one among our motto, which can help us take out talents from the city and set a benchmark for the industry.  Dancing, it is apparent, has evolved as a career of choice having a very high potential.

Sumit Tiwari, Cultural Secretary, RDA, informed that to start with, the association is organising an Inter School Dance Competition on 15^th August, while on 2^nd October, the association has planned to organize another dance event, “Shubarabh”, in which Miss World Yukta Mukhi along with Celebrity Choreographer Saroj Khan will be present.
