Members and officials of the Udaipur Christian Community along with residents of the Mission Compound at the Railway colony handed over a memorandum to the District Collector today, where they asked for action against unknown individuals who are allegedly creating hurdles in the renovation of the boundary-wall of the Mission Compound.
According to the Memorandum, the re-construction work, which started on 21st August 2012 by residents of the colony was pre-informed to Hathipol Police Station. Some anti-social elements though demolished the newly constructed wall giving the reference of a Devra being there, though that is purely an act to illegally acquire the land.
It was requested in the Memorandum to take disciplinary action against the anti-social elements, as they allegedly want to initiate a communal discord like situation. It was also asked by way of the Memorandum to provide security while the construction of the wall is in process.
