While gearing up for Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal pre-wedding celebrations, City Palace administration in Udaipur seems to have completely ignored the interests of general tourists visiting the City Palace.

One of the visitors to the City Palace, Anusha Ravi, shared pictures on Twitter expressing her frustration while visiting the City Palace. The photographs highlighted the current messy state of the City Palace area where the pre-wedding functions are to happen.

Question arises whether City Palace should be kept open to tourists if it is such a messy state? Secondly, even when it is open, should it still be charging tourists a ticket price if this messy affairs is what tourists have to see?

City Palace administration seems to be following the George Orwell’s words in Animal Farm, “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others“.
