Udaipur Railway Station will get internationally assimilated security system with other three railway stations of Rajasthan.

Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer and Udaipur are picked up to introduce new security system very soon and for that tender notice will been rolled out soon. According to the Times of India, the total cost of the project will be nearly 9 crore rupees.

Lalit Bohra , Chief PRO of North Western Railway (NWR) said to the newspaper “if everything goes well, many of the things which are part of the integrated security system would be procured in the next six months”

All four Railway stations will be equipped with close circuit cameras, x-ray machines, scanners, and baggage scanners, frame photography inside vehicles parked near the station and explosive censors at the parking lots.

Other things including inter connectivity of security between all these stations would be finalized soon.
