In line to become energy savvy and independent, Udiapur City Station inaugurated its Solar Power System today.

The 20KWP Solar Power System was inaugurated by Naresh Salecha, Mandal Rail Manager today at 12.15PM.

The system is financially supported by Container Corporation (ConCor) and the officials of ConCor were also present in the inauguration.

On 8^th Sept. 2014 Concor, Central Electronic Limited (CEL) and Railways entered into a joint agreement for installing Solar Power Systems at Ajmer and Udaipur. The financial support was provided by Concor and CEL installed the systems at the stations under the supervision of Railways.
