Ronkini Gupta, the celebrated voice in Indian classical music and Bollywood, is set to grace the international stage at Shilpgram's Mukta Kashi stage. With her resplendent voice, Gupta will inaugurate the "Ritu Basant Utsav," dedicated to classical music, at the Western Cultural Center on Friday, February 23, 2024. Director Furqan Khan lauds Gupta's unique blend of pure khayal and Bollywood music, emphasizing her vocal clarity and expression. 

The event, starting from February 23, 2024 at 6:30 PM, offers free entry to the general public. The program's curated lineup, featuring a blend of classical singing, Kathak dance, instrumental jugalbandi, and duets, ensures a delightful experience for all attendees.

Gupta's talent has garnered admiration from none other than Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, who has publicly declared her as his favorite classical singer. Her accolades include winning the Doverlane Music National Merit at 16 and the 'World Series SaReGaMaPa' at 21. Notably, she has lent her melodious voice to Bollywood hits like "Rafu" from "Tumhari Sulu" and "Chaav Laga" from "Sui Dhaaga." Gupta's prowess has earned her nominations for the Filmfare Awards and a win for Best Singer at Zee Talkies-Maharashtra in 2020.

Adding to her illustrious journey, Gupta was honored with the 'Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar Award' in 2023. Her performance at the "Ritu Basant Utsav" promises to be unforgettable, alongside other highlights such as the enchanting Kathak dance performance by Dr. Aarti Singh and Group on the opening day.

Dr. Aarti Singh, a distinguished Kathak dancer and professor at Kamla Nehru College of Music in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, brings her mesmerizing performances to the Shilpgram stage. 

The "Ritu Basant Utsav" aims to celebrate the rich tapestry of Indian classical music and dance, offering audiences an immersive cultural experience at Shilpgram's scenic open-air stage.
