Rajasthan to Provide Rs 2000/- to Government Colleges Students

November 15, 2024 - The Rajasthan government is offering a financial support scheme for students studying at government colleges located in district headquarters while staying in rented accommodations. Under the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, eligible students will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 2000/-. The last date to apply is November 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Students from the SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, and minority categories, enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs (Arts, Science, and Commerce) at government colleges in district headquarters, can apply. 

Conditions for Applicants

  • The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • The student's parent’s annual income should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh (for SC, ST, and SBC), Rs 1.50 lakh (for OBC), and Rs 1.00 lakh (for EWS).
  • Students are not eligible if they are studying in the district headquarters where their parents live.

How to Apply?

Applications can be submitted through the online portal, e-Mitra, or using SSO ID. 

Duration of the Scheme

Selected students will receive Rs 2000 per month for a period of ten months, for the academic session 2024-25.

Last Date to Apply

Students must submit their applications before the deadline of November 30, 2024.
