Development work is underway at over 500 railway stations across India, including Udaipur, a key station in the Ajmer division. This initiative aims to boost commercial activities at these stations.

Udaipur station will see an expansion in commercial ventures. Entrepreneurs, whether small, medium, or large, have the opportunity to open multi-brand stores, grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, and food plazas at the station.

Mr. Sunil Kumar Mahla, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Ajmer, announced that a new large building is being completed at the station's second entrance. The building, which is well-connected to the main road and has ample parking, will offer space for commercial activities on its first floor.

Business owners from Udaipur and nearby areas who wish to utilize this space are encouraged to apply. The available space can be used for multi-brand stores, grocery stores, coaching institutes, hotels, lounges, restaurants, food courts, and retail kiosks.

Other redevelopment works at Udaipur City Railway Station are also progressing and are expected to be completed soon. The entire redevelopment project is set to cost Rs 304.08 crore, with structural work already finished and finishing touches underway.
