Rajasthan: Composite Salary Account Package for Govt Employees, Eligible Pensioners
Various loan and banking facilities to be available free of cost or at concessional rates; 12 public sector banks empanelled
UdaipurTimes, Sept 29, 2026 - The State Government has implemented the Composite Salary Account Package (CSAP) for government employees, eligible pensioners up to the age of 70, and employees of State Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings. Through this package, beneficiaries will receive integrated and convenient banking services along with financial and insurance protection. Facilities will range from zero-balance accounts to concessional loans.
A total of 12 public sector banks have been empanelled for CSAP. Eligible employees and pensioners can choose any one of the empanelled banks according to their convenience and preference. They can either convert their existing bank account into a CSAP account or open a new account to avail themselves of the package. The State Government's initiative is an important step toward strengthening the financial well-being, social security and convenient banking services available to employees and eligible pensioners.
Harish Laddha, Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, said that under CSAP, beneficiaries will receive a zero-balance salary account with advanced banking facilities. Money transfers through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI will be free of charge.
In addition, loans for housing, education, vehicles and personal needs will be available at concessional interest rates. Other benefits will include waivers on loan processing charges and concessions on locker rent. Family banking and other banking services will also be available under the package.
The Joint Secretary further said that the package provides comprehensive insurance protection for beneficiaries. This includes personal accident insurance of up to Rs 3.50 crore, air accident insurance of up to Rs 4 crore, and term life insurance of up to Rs 20 lakh.
In addition, health insurance for beneficiaries and their families, along with an additional top-up facility, will be provided.
He said that CSAP will also provide Debit and Credit Cards equipped with advanced features. Beneficiaries will have access to facilities such as airport lounge access, reward programmes and cashback. Enhanced digital services related to the cards and other banking facilities will also be part of the package.
