December 7,2024 - The Education Department has caused confusion by changing the dates of the half-yearly exams and not announcing the winter break dates yet. According to the Panchang, winter break usually runs from December 25 to January 5. However, Education Minister Madan Dilawar has hinted at possible changes to these dates, leading to confusion among parents and students.

Half-Yearly Exams Schedule Changed

The new dates for the half-yearly exams are set from December 14 to 24. However, there has been no clear announcement about when the winter break will begin. This leaves holiday plans uncertain for many families.

Call for Clarity

Organizations are requesting clarity on the winter break dates. Education Minister Madan Dilawar had previously stated that the break would depend on the weather, but no official order has been issued yet.

Teachers and Parents Seek Confirmation

If exams are completed by December 24, the holidays may begin on December 25. Yashwant Pandey, Senior State Advisor of the Rajasthan Teachers Association, has asked the Education Minister to either follow the Panchang's schedule or issue an official order so that parents and teachers can plan accordingly.
