Congress Corporators Protest over Postponed Board Meeting
Congress corporators presented a memorandum to District Collector against the scheduled board meeting which was postponed without reason. Corporators allege that the sudden procrastination of meeting is unlawful.

Local corporators said that Board Meeting of Municipal Corporation is organized in every 60 days and there is no such provision under Nagar Palika Act to postpone the meeting.
Dinesh Shrimali, politician and corporator of ward no.13 led the corporators and presented the memorandum to the collector. The meeting was scheduled today at 3 pm at Municipal Corporation.
Corporators said that according to the section 51 of Nagar Palika Act 2009 the meeting has to be organized in every 60 days and in every 90 days the new committees has to be formed and the previous committees should be dissolved, for this they have informed the Mayor several times but she ignored.
By doing all this they are breaching the orders of the court, mentioned the memorandum.
Corporators have highlighted many other problems and alleged that the present board of BJP is corrupt and not focusing on development of the city.
