Congress Paid Tribute to Rajiv Gandhi
The Congress Party in Udaipur paid tribute to Late Rajiv Gandhi today for his 21st death anniversary today at the Shaheed Smarak at Town Hall. The commemoration was led by Pankaj Kumar Sharma, President of Congress Media Centre who, along with all others party workers, took an oath to work for the country’s unity and integrity as well as to continue the fight against terrorism
The Congress Party in Udaipur paid tribute to Late Rajiv Gandhi today for his 21st death anniversary today at the Shaheed Smarak at Town Hall. The commemoration was led by Pankaj Kumar Sharma, President of Congress Media Centre who, along with all others party workers, took an oath to work for the country’s unity and integrity as well as to continue the fight against terrorism.
Remembering the slain Prime Minister, Sharma reminded the party members of Rajiv Gandhi’s ideals and accomplishments which includes encouraging the youth to express their opinion, bringing India into the computer age as well as pioneering the first telecommunications network in the country.
According to Congress Spokesperson Firoz Ahmed Shah, Youth Congress Administrator Jai Prakash Nimawat and Intuc Administrator Ashok Tamboli were also present for the occasion.
Along with Town Hall, Rajiv Gandhi’s photo was also garlanded at the Congress Media Centre office in Dhanmandi.
