Two of the big projects of four lane viz. Udaipur-Gomti and Rajsamand-Bhilwara are expected to enter completion phase this year.

With the help of Chirwa tunnel, which is under process, the Udaipur-Gomti tunell will reduce the distance to reach Nathdwara up to five kilometers. Also, a one kilometer long elevated road in Nathdwara will be completed in the meantime.

Both the four lanes will ease the traffic pressure coming from Mumbai, Gujrat, Delhi and Jaipur.

The Rajsamand-Bhilwara four lane is stretched to 87.5 kms and is under construction phase since October 2013, with the budget of Rs. 915 crores. The project has undergone 40% of its completion phase.

On the other hand, Udaipur-Gomti four lane is 79.31 kms long. The project was started in April 2013 with an estimated budget of Rs. 1114.27 crores.
