Sevashram Pulia

Residents near Sevashram Pulia will soon benefit from a new road, under Udaipur Development Authority (UDA). The construction involves breaking a wall of Nehru Hostel to create a 20-foot wide road, facilitating safer traffic flow towards Dore Nagar. The new road will address the current challenge of crossing the road from the wrong side, reducing the risk of accidents and traffic congestion near Sevashram Pulia.

Following the demolition of the hostel wall, a 500-meter long and 20-foot wide road will be constructed. The project aims to be completed within two months, pending no complications. MLA  Tarachand Jain, MLSU VC Prof. Sunita Mishra, and UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain conducted an inspection of the site to finalize the project.

In addition to the road construction, officials also assessed the progress of a bridge connecting Hiran Magri and Madri. Despite ongoing work for a year, the bridge remains incomplete. Additional Chief Engineer Sanjeev Kumar Sharma briefed MLA Jain about the challenges faced in the bridge construction. However, he assured that one side of the bridge road will be opened for traffic by June, offering some relief to commuters.
