Pizza Burst restaurant situated opposite BN College was fined Rs 2000 by Consumer forum for causing mental harassment to a customer.

The complainant, Arvind, resident of sector-14 had gone to Pizza Burst with his friend. They ordered a Pizza worth Rs 160. Since they were two of them, the waiter asked them to also order Pizza worth Rs 65. The duo went ahead and ordered the Rs 65 Pizza also. However, when the order came, the waiter only brought them Rs 65 Pizza. When a complaint towards the same was made to the restaurant manager, he picked up a fight with Arvind and his friend and behaved in an upleasant manner with them. The Rs 160 Pizza was also not provided eventually.

Arvind lodged a complaint with Bhupalpura Police Station and also on the Government portal. Having heard the petitions, consumer forum ordered Pizza Burst to pay a compensation of Rs 2000 to the complainants for mental harassment.
