Rajni Dangi, Chairperson of Municipal Council Udaipur, instructed contractors to complete the ongoing repair works in the city at a review meeting of construction committee within a specified amount of time. She also enquired about the various construction projects that have started around the city.

In a non-periodical meeting of the construction committee with the executive engineers of council, she also pointed out the irregularity in tender work allotted to contractors in the running job work and mentioned the importance of maintaining quality in a construction project.

As per the sources, Rajni Dangi had paid a visit to various different locations in the past few weeks, where residents have raised a number of complaints against the slow pace of the construction process. The most common complaint received was the slow pace of repairing roads in congested regions.

“Slow work speed in congested areas creates a huge problem, especially for those living in the vicinity. For this reason, we have bounded contractors to complete all work under the deadline provided by Council”, said the chairperson.
