An agent with one of the co-operative societies has lodged a complaint against the controllers in Gogunda police station. Reportedly, Branch Manager and controller of Om Banna Co-operative Society cheated the investors and refused to give the maturity amount.

Inder Singh reported that Om Banna Co-operative Society has its office in Paneriyon ki Madri in Udaipur. As per the report, Inder Singh was an agent with the above said society. He opened RD and FD accounts of 50 villagers from Gogunda and deposited around 19.39 lakh rupees with the society. All the investors were given pass books with their investment details printed on them. At the time of maturity of the accounts, the account holders asked for money. Manager Kanhaiyya Lal Meghwal and controller Shankar Nagda made excuses for not being able to pay the money. The investors then approached Udaipur office but did not get any satisfactory response. Nagda has reportedly threatened the account holders and has refused to give their money back to them.
