Curfew imposed in 9 Villages of Bhilwara
26 Members of Dead Man's family have been quarantined
Dead Man used to meet 100-115 people daily
Bhilwara, already on the world Coronavirus Infection Map, witnessed its second death of a Coronovirus positive patient in a week.
The latest in the casualty was a 60 year old, resident of Naajriyawaas Raipur near Bhilwara. This patient was admitted to a hospital in Bhilwara way back on 6 March. After complaining of heart ache, he was admitted to Swastik Hospital in Bhilwara on 6 March as a heart attack patient.
He was shifted to the infamous Bangar Memorial Hospital on 7 March and was in ICU till 9 March. He stayed in Bangar Hospital till 12 March. Since his recovery was taking time and due to his history of being in Bangar Hospital during wrong dates, he as identified as a suspect of Coronavirus and shifted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and put in isolation ward. His sample was taken for test on 23 March and his report was declared to be positive on 25 March.
This patient died late evening on Thursday, 26 March due to kidney failure and other organ failures.
Earlier this week, a Compounder working in the isolation ward of a government hospital in Bhilwara was also declared dead due to Heart attack. Nisar Agwan, resident of Ajmer, was working in the Corona Isolation ward at this government hospital in Bhilwara.
Elsehwere, in Ajmer, the increase in number of positive cases has led the administration to shift regular patients in the government hospital to private hospitals and keep the government hospital occupied by Corona suspects and positive cases. Private isolation centres have also been earmarked by the Ajmer Districts Disaster Management Department. These locations, viz. Vijay Laxmi Park, Lakhotia Dharmshala, Hotel Khadim, Redcross Society Bhavan, Hotel Mansingh, Indoor Stadium, Star Queen Dera Masooda Pushkar, Hotel Araam Baugh, Motisar Pushkar have been identified and retained as isolation and quarantine centers under Section 2 of the Rajasthan Epidemic Diseases Act.
Meanwhile ACROSS RAJASTHAN, the identification of another 5 positive cases has taken the total tally of positive cases in the desert state to 40. Identification of 2 positive cases from Ramganj, near Bhilwara has led the administration to declare Curfew in Ramganj. All residents of Ramganj are being screened. The borders of Bhilwara have been sealed. No Entry or Exit alllowed.
