Couple burnt after gas cylinder mishap, wife died
A woman was killed today while her husband was admitted to the hospital with serious burns when an LPG gas cylinder pipe developed leaks resulting in the couples suffering major burns. The couple had been living in Udaipur’s Pratap Nagar area.
A woman was killed today while her husband was admitted to the hospital with serious burns when an LPG gas cylinder pipe developed leaks resulting in the couples suffering major burns. The couple had been living in Udaipur’s Pratap Nagar area.
Originally belonging to Madhya Pradesh’s Javad area, the couple had been selling food items and had shifted to Udaipur in the hopes for a stronger business.
Geeta, the wife of Lalaram, had succumbed to her injuries and died today at M.B Hospital while her husband is reported to be serious. Geeta’s body has been handed over to the relatives after postmortem.
The couple also has a 3 year old daughter who is unhurt.
According to the news report, Geeta was preparing meals at her home when the LPG cylinder she was using leaked and caught fire. Lalaram rushed to save her wife but was himself caught in the deadly flames.
This is the second such incident that has come to light in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, two people had died after the gas cylinder exploded possibly due to leakage at Salumber town.
