COVID 19 recovery rate in Udaipur is 88% - total 19,202 samples taken till date | CMHO

With Udaipur having begun to move about its daily business over the last week, positive COVID19 cases have begun to ease out. 

Dr Dinesh Kharade, Chief Medical and Health Officer, Udaipur, informed UDAIPURTIMES that the recovery rate for COVID19 positive cases in Udaipur district has touched 88%.

With 1 positive case coming out of the 388 reports recieved on 5 June, the total positive cases  for Udaipur touched 577. Of these, 507 patients have recovered.  While 455 patients have been discharged, the other are in the negative isolation ward at the Corona centre of MB Hospital and other private isolation and treatment centers across Udaipur.

The migrant count in the total positives within Udaipur district stands at 132.  With 66 active cases still under treatment, the 88% recovery count comes as relief for Udaipur, while the testing momentum continues.

As per the reports received from Dr Dinesh Kharade, a total of 19,202 samples have been tested so far.Of these 1,670 samples have been repeat tested. Dr Dinesh mentioned that the recovery rate is based on positive cases and should not be interpreted as having anything to do with total samples taken.
