-Whether Mumbai will have a lockdown again is not yet decided.

-The people in Mumbai are moving without masks and have left Kerala behind in covid positive cases.

Mumbai has reported more of covid positive cases and has left Kerala behind. There are reports of another lockdown in Mumbai though the lockdown has not yet been announced. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said today on Tuesday afternoon that the upward trend of covid cases in Mumbai is inviting another lockdown though the decision is in the hands of the Mumbai people.

Speaking about the lockdown news in Mumbai, the Mayor said that the lockdown will be people’s decision. She clarified this by saying that people in Mumbai have stopped wearing masks in public places. Trains, buses, roads, markets are crowded with people who are not following the guidelines of the government. The city may have to go in for another lockdown if the people do not realise that taking precautions is a must failing which the covid cases will rise even higher and a lockdown will be a necessity invited by the people.

493 covid positive cases were reported in Mumbai on Monday after 645 fresh cases on Sunday and this is a matter of concern. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also warned that if the cases keep on rising, then the government will be forced to take “harsh decisions”.

The situation in Mumbai must not be taken lightly and Udaipur people must also take a lesson from this. People are flocking in various spots of the city and many can be spotted without masks. Children can be seen cycling without masks in their respective colonies. The parents must take note of this. If the public is negligent and if Udaipur gets more of covid cases, or if the covid chain spreads itself again, we might also face the same situation. The situations in Kerala and Maharashtra are a lesson for the entire Rajasthan state and we must strictly follow the mandates to keep ourselves safe.
