Curfew tightened in Kanji ka Hata are nearby areas
The Surajpol area Kanji ka Hata COVID 19 positive case discovered last night has further ballooned the total cases of Udaipur to 20.
4 of the close contact of the infected Home Guard have tested positive as per information provided by Dr Dinesh Kharade, Chief Medical Officer, Udaipur.
The 4 close contacts include the primary infected's mother, wife, cousin and neighbour.
His brother, who works for a national news channel and is in Udaipur, has tested negative.
The source of infection is still unknown.
Paras Singhvi, Deputy Mayor and Councilor of the ward under which the infected area falls, has urged people to stay at home and follow lockdown restrictions and social distancing norms.
