The Alumni society of College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE) organized the Ex-Alumni Meet cum Felicitation Program today 11AM at the AVP hall, CTAE.

Dr. K N Nag was the Chief Guest on the occasion.  Talking about the appreciable role of engineers in the field of Agriculture over the past 50 years, he initiated to keep working for the challenges arising because of the Globalization.

Students of the 1987-88 batch, who completed 25 years after graduation were welcomed and felicitated on the occasion.  Meeting after such a long time, the students shared their experiences and memories of the past in their college.

Dr. N.S. Rathore, Dean, CTAE said, “CTAE is not only famous within India but throughout the world. Presently the college is providing B.Tech degree in 8 branches, whereas MBA (Technical) was also started last year.  The education standard of the college has increased in the past few years. Laboratories of the college are equipped with the latest equipment which in the present scenario is at par with any other laboratory.

Madan Chhajed, President Alumni Society detailed that the Alumni Society was formed in the year 1999 and the first Alumni Meet was organized in 2003.  At present the CTAE alumni society is having 3000 members.

On the occasion, Dr. Nag launched the Souvenir of the Ex-Alumni Meet.

The program was led by Dr. Abhay Mehta and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. N.K. Jain, Secretary, Alumni Society.
