A new culvert is set to be constructed over the Satoriya Nala, providing a crucial connection between the Neemnath and New Shiv Nagar colonies in Ward 37 of Hiran Magri and the Mali Colony 100 Feet Road. This initiative aims to significantly enhance local infrastructure, making transportation more accessible and efficient for residents in the area.
In addition to the culvert, the UDA is also planning to construct a drainage channel extending from the Hanuman Temple to the Satoriya Nala. This channel is designed to facilitate effective water disposal, which is vital for preventing flooding and managing stormwater in the region.
The foundation stone-laying ceremonies for both projects took place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, marking a significant step forward for the community. Udaipur MLA Tarachand Jain, alongside local representatives, participated in the ceremonies, addressing a long-standing demand from residents for improved infrastructure.
During the event, MLA Jain emphasized the collaborative efforts between the Municipal Corporation and UDA to expedite these essential projects. He assured the community that the focus is not only on drainage but also on upgrading roads and enhancing electricity supply, reflecting a commitment to meet the needs of the local population.
