On Tuesday, 5^th June the World Environment Day will be celebrated. The Chairperson of the Municipal Cooperation, Rajni Dangi has appealed to the residents to contribute in protecting the environment and plant trees around them.

Satyanarayan Mochi, President, Garden Committee, said that on Tuesday, a plantation program will be organized by the Nagar Parishad at Gulab Bagh at 9 in the morning.

The Forest department is also organizing a cycle rally on Tuesday at 7 am which will start from Mohta Park at Chetak. Passing through the Collectorate, the rally will end at Maharana Pratap Smarak, Moti Magri said O.P Sharma, Additional Forest Officer.

Each participant in the rally will be given a coupon for a lucky draw. The winner of the lucky draw will be gifted a cycle.

O.P Sharma also said that the Forest Department will also organize an exhibition outside Moti Magri Gate which will have paintings related to environment protection.
