Cyclone Maha has changed its direction. Instead of moving towards West and North-West, the cyclone is advancing towards East and North-East. The cyclone is likely to hit the coasts of Gujarat today i.e. Thursday.
As per experts, the cyclone will reach Junagarh, Porbandar, Dwarika, Jamnagar and Bhuj today. These areas will experience strong winds and heavy rainfall. The effect of cyclone will also be experienced in most of the areas of Rajasthan. The next 2-3 days will be cloudy and mild rains might be experienced as well.
The cyclone is liekly to weaken in a short time. The rains might cause harm to the crops, hence the harvests must be shifted to a safer place to avoid being eaten by worms. The temperatures are not experiencing the kind of drop that is experienced mostly in November. In fact heat is increasing during the day and touching 20 degrees which was 15 degrees a few days earlier.
