Maximum temperature of 26 degrees was recorded today in the city whereas minimum of 14 degrees was reported last night. The sudden change in weather conditions made the localities a bit uneasy in warm cloths, while once again Lipaphis Erysimi aka Mustard Aphid made it difficult to drive smoothly.

They are found in large number on mustard crops and grass fields. Although, they have a very short life cycle of few hours, but it can cause infections and allergies, watering or itching in eyes and nose if contacted.
To avoid such circumstances a few precautions could be taken such as covering face or using glasses to protect eyes, washing face with mid hot water to reduce toxitivity caused; one must not rub vigorously as it can cause reddish or watering eyes; avoid contact with nose as it can cause frequent sneezing or watering nose.
